The topic was clothes

First we brainstormed all the words we knew for clothes. Here is what we got:

After that we had to describe an item of clothing using the following phrases:

You wear this when …

eg: You wear this when you are cold.

It is …

eg It is casual-wear.

You wear it around . . . / on . . .  / over . . .

 eg. You wear it around your neck.

Hi, I am Sam Muller from Australia. I love teaching English. I first fell in love with teaching English when I cam to Japan ten years ago. I taught English at Elementary school and had so much fun. I went back to Australia to learn how to teach English. It was even more fun than I thought. I love building people's confidence and helping them express themselves. There are lots of language schools in Australia. I recommend going. It's a lot of fun. When I came back to Japan I was put in the junior high school system as an assistant language teacher. Every lesson I felt the same thing. The students weren't having fun. Every lesson was the same. Language learning should be fun. All learning should be fun. It was then that I realised I had to open a language school. I had to show people that learning is fun. Let's have fun and learn a language.
